Title: 2007 s4, looking for advice on rough running motor Post by mountaintrout on 11/17/08 at 10:42:59 i just bought a 2007 with 3500 miles and it was really smooth for about half a week of so. I think i need some advice on how to calibrate the carb a bit as it has gotten colder and there is a bit of elevation loss from where it was when i bought it. it idles slightly rough, but it is a bit rough in my slower speeds, 1st, 2nd gear as i am getting used to the turning and new owner stuff. i cant find a good diagram and i DON'T want to start turning screws blindly. help would be so helpful please. |

It is a thumb screw and you can't miss it. You can see it in this picture curtisy of Savage Wahine in her carb clean-up thread. http://suzukisavage.com/images/uploaded/LS650%20Mikuni%20BS40%20Carb%20Cleaning%2003.jpg |
