does anyone know if there are trike kits out there for the savage. my wife wants to ride but wants a trike conversion done on it

There's the Voyager (http://www.mtcvoyager.com/) which is really a quadacycle kit as you retain the stock rear wheel -- $4095.

Once saw someone who did a two wheel rear axle, but can't find it right now.

You will have a LOT more options and help if she'll go with a sidecar. Not to mention it makes a fabulous shopping cart.
