Title: Rocker arm thrust washer location Post by beck on 11/10/08 at 11:33:57 I took my head cover off to replace the oil plug. Since it was dirty and I am waiting for parts I decided to glass bead blast the cover. I took the rocker arms and shafts out. Oldtimers kicked in and I don't remember which side of the rocker arm the thrust washers were on. I think they would both be located on the right in this photo. http://suzukisavage.com/images/uploaded/HeadCovSeal01web.jpg |

Title: Re: Rocker arm thrust washer location Post by beck on 11/11/08 at 05:54:17 Thanks 88pagan. I checked out that site. I also looked at a Suzuki Service Manual this morning. They showed the same thing - I had mine on the wrong side. I corrected that this morning. Now if my plug, o-ring, and washer gaskets would get here I could put it back together. |
