Title: Got it home. Post by mikestrikes on 11/07/08 at 07:40:43 Well got my Savage in my shop last night. Now the fun starts... Rear wheel is shot, was going to sell it but it has a big bend in it. Rear fender has a small dent in it that is an easy fix if someone wants one thats not 100%. Fuel tank has been repaired with JB WELD at the rear mounting tab. And a few dents in it. The rest looks fine other than it dirty'r then an old man on the blue pill. I'll start to take it down this weekend and post pics as I go but the build up will be a long slow deal so dont think you will see build pics every day ! So who needs a Carb after I clean it to like new ? Front caliper will also get rebuilt and to who ever needs/want it. Pulleys and belt also. After take down I'll asses whats keep or not and post pics for those that may want or need parts.. 96* Savage with 12,700.............. |
