where on earth can you get a plastic get needle spacer to allow the fuel mixture to richen? do i have to fabricate one? or can i use a metal spacer?

  Get metal washers the same size I don,t know the size its in here somewhere

thanks for the quick post. i get to rebuld my carb tomorrow, install a new airfilter (my bike has been ridden at least 3000 miles without one), install new rubber duct from airbox to carb, install new crank case gasket (fixed my neutral light sensor) and fire her up!!!!!! i'm super excited.

fantastic weekend here in texas, can't wait to get back on the road!!!!

Lancer says washers are 6mm OD, 0.5mm thick. Original plastic washer is 3mm thick. Thinner washer - richer mix.
Fabricate, improvize, aluminum would do too, if you can fabricate it somewhere.

they've said #4 washers, but I think it's smaller

I used a nylon #4 washer from Ace hardware...measures 1/3 thickness of original.  They come in black or white. both the same.
