Title: aftermarket turn signals?
Post by groupus on 10/20/08 at 19:01:35

I'm just curious as to how easy it is to put after market universal turn signals on the back. I remember someone here doing it by cutting up the stock ones, but i'd like to know if anyone has had success without going to the chopping block.

Lots have.  "Easy" depends on how comfortable you are with wires.

wiring is not a problem; I'm more concerned about mounting the hardware without cutting or drilling. the savage has turn signals that are held in by a screw, i have not seen that before. i'm looking to replace my rears (and maybe fronts if i'm feeling adventurous) with smaller bullets with the universal threaded stems.

has anyone had success with this or is there is some place selling ones that will fit the savage for cheap?

I have no ide what brand they are, found them 7-8 years back here in Sweden, I have the same ones on  my Intruder 1500 as well, but they are cromed instead of aluminium.
