Just installed mine last night. So far so good with remembering to turn off the fuel. Has anyone else done this, and are there things I need to watch for?
Thanks.

i got one waiting for me in the shop... maybe today, maybe tomorrow.

Q: did you plug the vacuum line hole on the carb? if so with what?

you can get a rubber cap at the auto parts store. just cap off at the carb. i had to buy a package of several for $3 at advance auto.

Thanks for the info on reserve. Still learning how far I can get with the new petcock.
I bought a set of vacuum caps at O'Rielly's. Less than 3 bucks, various sizes. Seems to work OK. I did put a back up cap in the tool kit, just in case.
