Post by mikestrikes on 10/07/08 at 08:54:54

I just got this back today...

Thank you for your email.
We’re sorry but Wiseco does not have a piston available for your motor.

Best regards,

Wiseco

Stroke is 94.0mm Bore is 94.0mm

You must be looking at the wrong listing ?

How does changing the year help when all Savage 650 have the same piston ?

Just got a reply back from them. That part number isn't for the Savage LS650 but a dual purpose bike. Different piston..

Description and part number for Suzuki LS650 dual purpose motorcycle. The part number is the 4597M09600

Looks like Wiseco was suggesting the DR650 and LS650 had interchangeable pistons and overbore kits . See the first section below.  My understanding is the Savage has always been 94 x 94. Displacement is 652, not 641. Something is wrong.
