I just wanted to say thanks to all who had suggestions for me. I got her running. It turned out the carb needed rebuilt ( I was told it was just rebuilt when I bought it) and the decompression was out about .25 . She's running pretty good now. Now emissions, insurance, tags, and a few finishing touches. Hope to post some pics soon. Thanks again eveyone. 8-)

it seems alot of sellers will say they just rebuilt the carbs on a bike. glad you got it together.

You'll be pleasantly surprised when you go to insure the bike. Progressive rated it the least stolen bike and one of the least crashed bikes out there so rates should be cheap. Another plus for the Savage!
