anyone know where I can get some info abt the pain code for my 06 black s40?I just got the fender and gonna paint it sometime next wk.

The color is "Pearl Nebular Black"

The code is YAY

The ColorRite top is 4970

Frame color is "Space Black"

The code is 019

ColorRite top is 4050

Please verify this at http://colorrite.com/ in case I goofed up, as I have never ordered from them, and not sure how it works.

I went and checked out that site and none of the chips looks like my bike.

Under the paint swatches it states;

"Color swatch is just an approximation for reference. It is not an exact color representation."

I suppose it also depends on your Monitor settings, brand, etc.... For instance when I looked at my Dark British Racing Metallic Green, it looked way off.....I darkened my settings and it was pretty close.

I know ColorRite is a well known and widely used paint company, but then again, I have ZERO experience with them.

Perhaps some of you have ordered from them and could give more detailed feeback?
