Title: Bionic Wrenches Post by Digger on 08/27/08 at 20:47:23 A couple of guys on my KLR650 forum have tried these and said they are heavy-duty, display high build quality, and work well. Bionic Wrenches (http://loggerheadtools.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=2&chapter=1&zenid=35579594cf45297d95a28de53ce57e04) Does anyone here have first-hand experience with these? |
Title: Re: Bionic Wrenches Post by T Mack 1 on 08/28/08 at 06:39:38 Digger, I think my wife is going to start hating you soon.. ;) ;) Those look like a nice idea. Might not work too well where space is an issue ... :( Add a set (or at least the 8" one) to my christmas wish list...... |
Title: Re: Bionic Wrenches Post by KwakNut on 08/28/08 at 07:04:24 It looks like a good idea, except I'm struggling to think of a time I'd rather use one of those than either an ordinary open or ring combination wrench, or a socket. I'm terrible for buying tools just because they look good or they're a good idea, then having them unused in my tool drawers for 10 years, but even I would be sceptical over this! |

Title: Re: Bionic Wrenches Post by bill67 on 08/28/08 at 08:05:53 Their not good for close quarters like a motorcycle |
Title: Re: Bionic Wrenches Post by alcoa on 08/28/08 at 09:06:06 I am a millwright these toys come along every year, save your money. They do not work well. |
Title: Re: Bionic Wrenches Post by drharveys on 08/28/08 at 13:50:57 Looks good for a rusted, exposed bolt or nut where there's plenty of room to swing the "wrench". Not so sure about any advantages in other applications. |
