Title: Bionic Wrenches
Post by Digger on 08/27/08 at 20:47:23

A couple of guys on my KLR650 forum have tried these and said they are heavy-duty, display high build quality, and work well.

Bionic Wrenches (http://loggerheadtools.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=2&chapter=1&zenid=35579594cf45297d95a28de53ce57e04)

Does anyone here have first-hand experience with these?

Digger,

I think my wife is going to start hating you soon..  ;) ;)

Those look like a nice idea.  Might not work too well where space is an issue ...  :(      Add a set (or at least the 8" one) to my christmas wish list......

It looks like a good idea, except I'm struggling to think of a time I'd rather use one of those than either an ordinary open or ring combination wrench, or a socket.

I'm terrible for buying tools just because they look good or they're a good idea, then having them unused in my tool drawers for 10 years, but even I would be sceptical over this!

With such high tech graphics to demonstrate how they work how could you go wrong?   ;)

Looks good for a rusted, exposed bolt or nut where there's plenty of room to swing the "wrench".   Not so sure about any advantages in  other applications.
