Well... Actually in my wife's name but you know what I mean.

Did the title transfer this evening and me, my buddy and his girlfriend proceeded to clean her up. He rode it over to his garage and said it runs like he was driving it home from the showroom. We spent 2 hours cleaning and polishing and the bike looks AMAZING now!

Pictures don't do this bike justice due to the flash and taking them at night. Looks 100 times better in person. The entire bike cleaned up like brand new with exception of the head pipe and the mirrors which are pitted a bit. Anyone know where I can find good deals on both?

Maybe the best $1500 we ever spent! I'm going to have to find a bike for myself eventually after we learn how to ride but I don't think I'll ever approach this deal.

She'll LOVE her surprise. I bought a 3 bed, 2 bath, 2 car garage w/ fireplace once without asking the wife what she thought.. It was a non qualifying assumable & it was jump on it or walk away, or I would have asked, but THAT caused quite a stink. OHH, but when she calmed down, she was SOO happy with what I had done!

Will she be wrenching it in 2 days Like Kay?

Observation #1 - Nice bike, you did good
Observation #2 - I have never seen a garage with a plywood floor - very interesting.
Observation #3 - Looks like your available space to motorcycle ratio is about maxed out! Nice.

Haha! We were talking about the same thing. Seems this is going to be a major problem I suppose. ;)

Yeah, he has 3 Harleys that are so clean you could eat off of them. He just bought his girlfriend a 2008 Sportster and is installing a bunch of add-ons.

My buddy brought the bike over alittle while ago to show the wife and she is very pleased. She saw it when it was filthy and didn't really expect it to clean up like it did.

When we were gawking at it in front of the house, someone pulled over and asked if we were selling it! LOL!

Hopefully, its someone over here on the west side for a change. I'm getting tired of my having any riding buddies over here on this side of the state... >:(

Nice corvette, by the way. Based on the rear fender, spoiler and aero-mirror, I'm guessing early 80's, probably 81-82??
