With some imagination and just looking around you can fix up the bike with a personal touch. And make some things work that you thought never would ;)

I think each of us have different saddle bags for our bikes, some just found what they liked....you'd be surprised what works.

I am thinking of selling them because I am making a bobber.  These are very large though.

How much are you asking for the bagzilla bags?  Are you keeping the supports, or selling them too?

Actually I am using these unsupported.  They are a little more rigid leather.   I haven't really thought on a price.  Basically just going to reinvest in the bike.

I wasn't sure I was gonna like these but I really do. If they were just a little bit bigger.....

I'm glad I was completely ignorant about bags when I got mine, or I'd have never tried them.  It's just two bags with a strap between them isn't it?

Hard bags, I can see the problem.  Mounting points and such.  But soft bags just kind of hang there and hold stuff.  They don't know what kind of bike they are on, do they?

With the throw over type of bags, I'd say the only problems you could run into would be the turn signals getting in the way if the bags are too big. And where to tie them down. Both problems are easy to figure out. I've done the turn signal relocation

That worked okay but the LED lights that I used were almost invisible during the day. Thats when I went with the hard bags with built in turn signals. That was a good Idea but the built in turn signals were also LED and also very hard to see. So I added a set or standard turn signals to the hard bags

Now I'm happy with the bags and turn signals. I also changed the brakelight for a cats eye. Now if I could just find the right seat...........

You Should probably take a look in the  Technical/Documents/Reference section and look at the table of contents. There are alot of links there that will tell you just about anything you would need or want to know about your savage. There is a link that will let you listen to some exhaust options. Also you can use the search function.
