Title: lost Savage key Post by mabs22 on 07/09/08 at 15:07:07 Howdie, I bought my first house this fall and my Savage key must have fallen into one of the many boxes and got tossed out :( I have only been riding for 3 years and haven't done any work on the bike (haven't needed to) It's a 2000 LS650 (bought used so I have no paper trail of the key code). Would I be crazy to try and replace the ignition lock by myself? |

Title: Re: lost Savage key Post by verslagen1 on 07/09/08 at 15:21:04 Take a look at the ig cylinder, somewhere there might be a key code. Mine starts with an "E" and is followed by 5 numbers. Write down that number and take it to a locksmith that speciallizes in m/c's. there's one on line |
