Title: Glass packed Header
Post by Kirk on 07/08/08 at 07:53:36

Hello again fellow Suzukians. I have yet another question being the new rider that I am with a whooping 6 months or riding experience under my belt ;D ;D A friend of mine has a Honda something ornother and he said he used glass packing on his muffler and it gave it a better sound and better performance. Anyone in here ever use the stuff and if so how hard is it for a novice like me to add to my bike?

I have a supertrapp and I'm supposed to pack it with fiberglass every so often.  I would be easy if I wanted to do it.

Stock muff, impossible.   ;D

The fiberglass deadens the higher sounds so it gives it a lower sound

I have a glass pack on KLX, sounds good but needs "topping up" every so often.

I used "Chore Boy" stainless steel scourting pads in my Jardine. Cheap, fun and better sound. Prolly could use some more, but I'll do that later.  ;D
