Title: Replacement Battery Post by geo on 07/07/08 at 11:58:39 Does the Big Crank ETX15L battery interchange into my 2002 LS650 without mods? What is your experience with replacement batterys? I priced the YUASA YB14L-B2 at $100 which is a bit excessive. The Big Crank is a lot less expensive. Excide makes a battery (14L-B2) but I can't find it anywhere. What is your experience with mail-order batterys? Do I have to add fluid after I receive it? :-/ |

Big crank comes charged and ready to go. The terminals are quite abit bigger than stock and one tab on each cable will either have to be removed or bent up. I chose bent up. Also the positive terminal rubber doesn't sit flush like it used to. I modified the terminal protector to fit over the cable for added protection against shorting. ;D |
