Who has the best price on supertrapp exhaust? I did a search of the board and web but didn't find much. Also is there a specific model for a 07 S40?

I just ordered a Supertrapp for my 07 S40 yesterday. I noticed the S40 was not listed but when I checked the OEM part number for the 2004 Savage muffler it is the same part # as the one for my 07. So I dont know what could be different but I guess I will soon find out.

That's what I thought, Thanks. Now to just find one. I searched the internet last night and didn't find anyone having them for the Savage/S40.

I ordered mine from http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_catalog/Product.jsp?skuId=444233&store=Main&catId=403&productId=p444233&leafCatId=&mmyId= but I think I got the last one they had. I found it listed here http://www.motorcycleproshop.com/detail.asp?product_id=728-50650 for 249.00 but I dont know how much they charge for shipping. Like I say they are not listed to fit the S40 but if they both use the same stock muffler I dont know why it wouldnt fit.

maxx did, i got it for a burn out. we swapped it the same day. i believe the stock can is on a differnt machine in his stable. sounds good he says..

I just got my Supertrapp installed and I love it. Tone is great. performance is excellent. 8 discs installed now. 6 more on the way. I have dynojet kit,and stock air filter. I want to tune the bike for fuel economy so I will start adding discs until the performance begins to suffer and then go back till the performance recovers. When I ordered mine, they called me and said it was a special order part and will take about 2 weeks to get. I can't wait till it arrives.

Make sure you use plenty of antisieze on the disk bolts on the Supertrapp, else you will be turning them back & forth, working them out slowly. Use no speed tools, it will gall the threads up quickly & make removal even more difficult. Even stainless steel bolts can get stuck.

My Supertrapp arrived today and I got in installed. I really like the sound. I only used 5 disks for now until I can rejet the carb. I adjusted the air/fuel mix. I get a little crackle when letting off the throttle (WOT to nothing) and only get a very little pop at shut down.
