they feel great. a lot better then the pegs. i personally like the look of the floorboards. but i guess thats just my taste.

Yeah, the install looks great. Maybe it's just because I'm used to seeing the bike with pegs or something.

Guy who lives up the street from me has boards on his bike and says the world about them, so I'm sure comfort is much better than pegs.

this is the first time ive had boards on my bike and now i wont go back to pegs. it much more comfortable with the boards. if anything i only paid $30 for them on ebay. get some and try them out. if you dont like them then at least you know. its really not that big of an investment.

Nice clean installation!

But it really is a matter of taste -- I test rode a Victory with boards and could not wait to get back to my pegs! (There were a few other issues with the Victory, also mostly personal taste. So I'm not bad-mouthing the bike, and this years promotional t-shirt looks good!)

yeah i agree its a matter of taste. i dont like the pegs. my fiance doesnt like the pegs either. i guess it just depends on the person. either way i am very pleased with the install considering these boards arent made for the savage.

i love the feel of floorboards i don't mind pegs but i kinda like the looks of the floorboards you did a good job installing them and makes me wanna try and put a set on my savage .

I have a set of these that my brother is helping me to mount. Full size, adjustable, and cool looking. It's taking a little fabricating but the mock up is awesome! I'll post some pics latter this week.

I have just purchased a set like yours and was checking how to mount them. Did you use the mount that can with it and screw that through the savage mount and also redrill the same mount for flatter mounting of the floorboard?

Yes I used the mount that came with the floorboards and drilled to fit. I have been using the floorboards for about a year and love them.
