Title: drag bars for a 2000 savage?
Post by dills84 on 06/18/08 at 22:12:03

im a new owner of a 2000 savage. i really want to start modding it immediatly.

I really want drag bars, possibly with a slight bend on each end. i saw a new S40 at the suzuki dealership, and i really liked how those looked.

Would the S40 bars fit on my savage? or would it be cheaper to order some kind of aftermarket bar? I'm new to cruisers so im not sure if theres a standard size.

Thanks in advance for any help!

As long as they are 1 inch bars they should fit. I put on 1 inch Harley 10 inch rise mini apes on mine.

Please post questions in Rubber Side Down. They will be answered much sooner that way and the moderators won't have an appoplexy.  ;) ;)

Between Harley and Suzuki the mini apes I got didn't even have any knurles I just tightened the sh!t out of them until they wouldn't move any more. What I will probably do is take them off and rough them up with a quick pass of my dremel so the risers will have something to grab hold of.
