Are the shift linkages weak on these bike because mine just broke down shifting into my street. I havent even beat on this bike hard.  i hope this isn't a reoccuring thing.  >:(

Many have experienced a stuck shift from time to time.
There's the gentle push and clutch and throttle way to get out of it which works.
and the stomp, stomp, stomp which doesn't.
Those that stomp sometimes break things.

No I dont stomp, anyway I though it felt a little spongier than my Honda it looks like it bent in the past and may have been cracked and it just so happened to break a week after I bought it. I guess I had that one comming. Well I took it off and welded it back new and the shift is far more crisp and the sponge feeling on the down shift is gone. I guess that was why I got the bike so cheap. lol

If you are interested in a heavier duty shift rod send me a PM, I have a set of dies to cut the threads and will use a length of 1/4 inch round stock which is a lot stronger than stock.
