Title: Offering a degree of comfort to Savage passengers Post by skrapiron on 06/02/08 at 13:50:20 Do you have a special someone who rides pillion on your bike. Chances are, they've found the meager passenger accomodations spartan at best. The pillion seat is narrow, hard and brutally uncomfortable for any length of time. I found a solution at : http://www.seatsaddle.com/ It is a custom made slip over saddle pad for the pillion seat. It extends the sides nearly 5 full inches over the stock pad and adds a tremendous level of comfort. http://w3.bikepics.com/pics/2008/06/02/bikepics-1308723-800.jpg My bike without the pillion pad. http://w3.bikepics.com/pics/2008/06/02/bikepics-1308726-800.jpg My bike with the pillion pad. For just $60.00 plus shipping, it makes a world of difference in passenger comfort. Since I got mine, neither of my kids have complained about a sore butt once and my wife and I have ridden together on some extended runs with a fair degree of comfort. Its a clever solution to a bad seat design that works. |

The Sportster seat is noticeably wider than any of the LS650 seats from Suzuki. |
