Hello, I recently posted and got a lot of good help, thanks by the way, but sadly I need some more.  At idle the bike seems fine, but as I start to rev it up, a little past 3thousand or so it starts missing and starts to die if I don't let off.  Obviously I think this is bad, and since this is my first bike I'm a little nervous to just ride and see how it does.  First off, stupid question time, I have the clymer and  for adjusting the float level book says 1.06 to 1.114inches, is that correct?  Also the

Depends on the jet/pipe situation.But I'm thinking that the carb may need to be cleaned.It sounds if the slide might be sticking.

leave the float as is- from your other post it sounds like the bike is sucking fuel through the vacuum line at the petcock - fix that first.
