Secondly, can I still using the belt guards as chain guards or will I leave them off opr fabricate something.

Enquiring minds want to know.......

Use the numbers for the sprocket you want that is posted in the tech section. I went to my local Honda shop and ordered them from JT. Be sure the rear sprocket is for GS 550 with cast wheel, or you will end up with the wrong bolt pattern. I had no problem getting these sprockets after I figured out the ones I needed to change to chain, and posted the how to do post in the tech section. I live in a very small town of about 5,000 people, and the local Honda shop got them in 2 days.    Hutch

With a 16/43 gearing, I got 110 links and popped off 2.  Hutch also used 110 links, if memory serves.
