Title: Savage bobber-style
Post by Finnishbobber on 05/14/08 at 04:02:41

Hello fellow riders and greetings from Finland!! First to the people who follows ice hockey and especially the world champions ice hockey that is going on right now in Canada: We are sorry about the miss-red goal we got at the last game!!  :) The russian referee pointed it as a goal even it went through the side-net.

And now to the real issue. I am building a bobber out of my savage and I have noticed that there are several people who are doing the same or already have one. Itīs a bit rear modification on savage so I thought that it would be cool to gather up some savage-bobber pictures here, pictures that are found from the internet or pictures of your own bobber!! What do you say?

Here are some savage-bobbers that  I have found so far, I donīt know if they are someones from this forum  :D:

Johnny, if you right click the image on bikepics and say "open image in new tab", at least in safari, it will give you the link to the image file in the address bar, which you can put in the image tags to post on the forum.

This is a Bike in progress/test mule for our shop. Current mods include 18" rear rim custom bobbed fender ( with antique marker light from a semi truck ), vintage leather solo seat ( with many frame mods done to accommodate the springs ). Future mods will include oil tank reservoir / battery holder, early Harley dirt bike gas tank and XS 650 Yamaha trees and front end. All body work will be left bare metal, black frame, rims, hubs with polished stainless steel spokes.

Team,

Since I sold my kikker hardknock I had some time to get back on the Savage Richie Bobber Project. I finished it up last week and will be posting pics soon.  The Savage is a great bike to bob, so is the XS650 and Honda Rebels.

Let me know what you all think once I snap a few pixs
