Even though the Savage is the least stolen according to Progressive Insurance, I am living proof they do get stolen!

Happened 3 weeks ago, so now my insurance agency will start looking into what they will pay me since that is how much time they give police to find it.

My question is, do any of you all had this happen? And what kind of a pittance of a payout can I expect? This was a 2006 with 13000 miles on it, windshield, bags, engine guard, not a scratch on it.

Should hear this week what claim amount will be. But I can't wait for it as she was the only form of transportation I had. Have to buy a new scoot immediately!

Sadly the new scoot won't be a Savage as the deal I found was for a Vulcan 500. Guess the Universe told me time for a different bike *shrugs* Will miss my Savage :'(

NADA shows the average retail @ $3,435

KellyBlueBook has it @ $3030

Sure would not expect the offer to come in less than these - when my kids car was totaled awhile back the insurance company actually paid a little over NADA.

If you have pics show them to the adjuster.They also pay for some accesories.
