Well after 3 very, very, very long weeks and several calls about gaskets and such, I finally got the ole girl back togather and fired her up. She started right up witrhout the choke.

no leaks,

no misses

and very quiet. Now...I am waiting on my next shorty muff....

funny...engine is quiet...but the exhaust will be LOUD!

Congrat's!!!!! It's a good feeling ain't it. When I first started mine up I held my breath... then smiles.....

After getting the old girl cleaned up and all on Saturday, the boy and I rode from Home to Boone (NC). It was his first longish rideand a good shake-down cruise for me. We had a great time. On the way back, a bunch of HD's came by. The boy jumped right in and rode with them for about 10 miles. I stayed back and ran interference. When he left them, the "ladies" gave him a 30 boob salute.

I think it was more nakedness than he has seen before.

He asked when we can ride again. :) :)
