Title: Tool Cover and Breather Tube Post by ALittlebird on 04/19/08 at 09:27:20 My bike didn't have the tool cover when I bought it. I ordered the parts to fix that - minus the tools - to cover that spot over. When I went to put it on it doesn't go since the battery breather tube is running through that space - the bottom edge of the cover if locked into place would pinch that tube closed. Should the breather tube be running through that bottom right hand hole and down. I have the Clymers book and it doesn't show enough of a picture and neither does the owners manual I downloaded from here. And by the way - many thanks to the person who scanned in that owner's manual. It's been so helpful! Between it and reading all the old posts I am really beginning to understand this bike. |

Title: Re: Tool Cover and Breather Tube Post by ALittlebird on 04/19/08 at 10:01:44 Thanks! That what I figured but the last owner has it running through the top and bottom holes of 14. Seemed odd and it was. I'll run out and change it now. |
