How do you remove the rear turn signals on the s40?  Just bought a 2006 and need to replace the rear signal... sounds simple, but

You have to take the chrome bracket/or sissy bar whichever you have off to get to the wiring. There is a phillips head screw underneath where the t/s meets the bracket.Look underneath you'll see it.

wiring runs under the fender side rails towards the front..easier to get to the nuts with rear wheel up off ground unless you have small hands ,nuts for the side rails are insde of fender.if i remember corectly pull the seat to get to the wiring junction/splice /connector point..if bike has sissy bar(didnt come stock on 06) have to remove it first, look up under where sb meets side rail for phillips head screw..
