Title: Re: Ok I read about forward controls. But? Post by YonuhAdisi on 03/24/08 at 16:27:38 Yes, ED. L makes his forward control plates out of aluminum so they won't put any measurable extra weight to the bike. They move everything forward pegs, kickstand, shifter, and brake pedal. The ones I made for myself leaves the kickstand in the original position. http://suzukisavage.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?num=1200258799 |

I batted around getting the control extensions, but am afraid they would move the controls too far forward. With the highway bar and pegs, I can stretch out when I'm cruising and have the more compact riding position for commuting. I'd post a picture, but the bloody server keeps telling me that my 128k jpeg is too bloody big to upload! ::) |

Title: Re: Ok I read about forward controls. But? Post by demin on 03/27/08 at 13:03:44 I finally got to get in the wind(literally 35 mph,up to 50 mph gusts)to try out my extensions :D.Got about 10 miles out the f&%@#*g headlight disintergrates.Through traffic holding a headlight in one hand, controlling the bike with the other.I did put new brake pads on $32.00 plus tax at the stealership.aaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhhhhhh. Time to steal the $150.00 one off the Harley >:(. But on a good note the extensions kicka$$. [smiley=thumbsup.gif] |
