Dose the mikuni carb come stock on 650s or are they after market carbs. I want to put the cone air filter on my bike and the description says they have one that fits the stock and one that fits the mikuni. I thought I had a stock carb but it says mikuni on it just wondering if thats the stock one.

Yes, the Mikuni BS40 carb is stock to the Savage

There are also other Mikuni carbs used on the LS650 but the BS40 is stock.

The other Mikuni is the VM model, which is a round slide type carb. It is simple and efficient with really good responsiveness and power.
