The above conversion in action (click on pix for the movie.)  I was very appreciative of them a few weeks ago when the taillight bulb burnt out -- I wasn't left no lights in the rear.

Our bike uses separate leads and filaments for run, stop, and turn; same as most modern cars.  Old school blinked the brake lights for turn signals., as do most trailers.  Guess what -- they make a converter (<$20 at most trailer supply stores) to go from new school to old school so you could use a pair of any two-filament lamps for run/brake/turn functions.

What you do is limited only by what you can find and your imagination.  I could, for example, mount '64 Mustang taillights in/on my saddlebags.  Or the big torpedos off a '61 Plymouth in place of the fender rails.
