Title: this bike is LOUD! Post by motorcycle MOM on 02/18/08 at 21:51:54 Hi Everyone (new here), I just bought a '96 LS650, I'm not sure what kind of pipes it has on it but boy is it loud! I know that may be desirable to some, but I would like to quiet it down a bit. What are my cheapest and easiest alternatives? |

Post by Reelthing on 02/18/08 at 22:05:35 need to know where your starting from - some think a jardine is loud others not so much - but really the H.D SE2 with the o-ring baffle taken out is pretty dang loud in anyones book - do you have a picture perhaps we could help set a base for what is loud to you |

It bolted right on to the stock mount and sounds just like the original stock muffler. I paid $20.00 for it. They have all kinds of them left over from people making mods to their pipe's. :) |

I wouldn't mind trading it for a stock pipe but it isn't in the best condition esthetically, its kinds of discolored. Anyway, I think I will check out the local Harley place for a used pipe as was suggested. Thanks again! |
