Title: Easy but Cool license plate placements mods... Post by mrrocksteady on 02/17/08 at 09:05:22 I would like to get rid of the license plate/mudflap look and put it somewhere on the side sideways....just wanted to see what some of you guys had done and with what parts. I think here in VA the plate needs to have a light on it too pics anyone? |

Title: Re: Easy but Cool license plate placements mods... Post by SimonTuffGuy on 04/30/08 at 17:30:36 Hmmm... That looks really cool. So much nicer than the stock location, that's for sure. :) You don't run saddlebags at all, do you? Any idea if they would get in the way of the location of your plate? |
Title: Re: Easy but Cool license plate placements mods... Post by strangeling on 04/30/08 at 17:50:40 I don't run saddlebags but I think you would have to probably use small slant style bags with the side mount plate. |

Title: Re: Easy but Cool license plate placements mods... Post by bsdnfraje on 05/01/08 at 14:39:59 Duane, I think that's a 2.4gal Sporty tank. It's definitely Sporty, but never can be certain about capacities. And +1 on the muffler and sheild. Plus the handlebars are a little wide for that frontend, imho. But you're the one riding it, and it looks loads better than mine. Now I gotta go, my sprockets and chain just fell off the big brown truck. |
