Title: Clymer's Mistakes? Post by eanon on 01/24/08 at 14:11:56 I got my brand spankin' new copy of the clymer ls650 manual today. :D But I know there are a few errors hidden in there. Bad news for an amateur mechanic like me. Beside setting tdc, (rotating the enigine counter-clockwise, not clockswise, when looking from left side of the bike ) does anybody know of any other mistakes clymer made? Thanks for the info. |

Title: Re: Clymer's Mistakes? Post by eanon on 01/24/08 at 15:04:49 Yup. I'm more mechanically minded myself. Just another reason I love the savage. so easy to work on (and I'm just getting into the engine!). I'm not a mechanic, I just like taking things apart! |

Taking things apart is the easy part, it's putting them back together properly where folks get in trouble. ;) ;) |
