Title: Rear fender and more...
Post by Nybbe on 01/22/08 at 09:42:56

Hi everybody, I´m Nybbe and I just purchase my first Savage.
Like so many others I want to change the look of my bike and wonder if anybody have tips about company who sell parts international?

Any tips how to rebuild the rear fender or where to buy one new so it will fit with the solo saddle?

Is it possible to change the rear springs to shorter to lower the bike?

I dont like the look of the tail light, is it possible to rebuild the licensplate light to hold both breaklight and regular light?

Any tips about Savage is grateful !

Sorry for bad english, Im from Sweden  :)

/ Nybbe

The fender, there are a couple of guys on here using universal fenders(boat trailer fender)There are shorter shocks available. If you are going bobber look you can go rigid with a spring seat to lower it.The taillight if you unbolt your license plate light you can bolt alot of aftermarket taillights right on(as on the black bike)or unbolt your stock taillight and bolt one on like the purple bike.

Light:  bolt on and cut/splice a couple of wires:

You then have to fill the holes left by the stock light, so while doing that you can clean up the stock fender like Greg_650 did:
