Will I need an adapter to install this muffler on a stock bike? And if so where do I get one? I'm gonna go to the harley shop and purchase a muffler clamp if there is anything else I need let me know, thanks

I have a screaming eagle. I didn't need anything special (aside from the clamp you mentioned) to connect to the stock pipe. The screaming eagle i got used a similar enough design to connect to the frame.

Screaming Eagle is a Harley Davidson Performance brand name.

What you need to know is which model Harley the muffler is for. Dyna mufflers are almost a bolt up other than needing some gasket work. As for Sportster mufflers, there are several Sportsters, 883 1200.... so it varies.
