Title: trouble strarting Post by jacobrando on 12/21/07 at 12:40:57 when I try to start my bike 88 suzuki savage it will not do anything when I push start button but after 5-10 minutes of pushing it will finally start just want to know starting point if its the starter or the switch might be bad thanks |
Title: Re: trouble strarting Post by Paladin. on 12/21/07 at 12:46:11 Starters don't go bad as often as switches. I'd lay odds on one of the interlock switches. |
Title: Re: trouble strarting Post by verslagen1 on 12/21/07 at 13:47:20 You're mashing down that button for 5 to 10 minutes? There's an optimist. Is the starter hot after that? If not, then it's the switch. If it is, then somethings holding it back. Decompression solenoid kicking in? I'd check the adjustment anyway. |
