Can someone tell me what the rubber breather hose lookin thingy is that hangs down below the crancase? It has a little hose clamp and a plug in the end of the hose that appears to be leaking oil. It drips just enough to leave a nickel size spot when parked hot. When I pulled the plug out, it drained about a half shotglass of oil and then stopped. Thanks. Jim

it drains the oil from the aie box where it collects from the head beather hose- should pull that plug now and then

Hey Reelthing....thanks a lot for the reply. That little drip has been annoying me since I did the engine oil plug seal repair. Now that I've completely stopped all oil drips, I can start parking the Savage in the living room next to my TV. Jim

they like it in the house :) last hurricane drill we had here - the '02 and '95 both had a place in the dinning room to make a place in the garage for my BILs car( he lives right on the gulf) and the golf cart!
not sure where they all go next time - got a guzzi looking for a place too now
