Title: The CD is great....  Wow!!!

If you haven't ordered the Savage CD, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a fantastic CD.  Everyone who wants to tinker with an LS650 should have this CD in his collection.   The images are clear and the text is easy to read (unlike some manuals I've seen.)

If you own an LS650 don't be without this CD.  You'll save the cost of the CD by doing one tune up yourself.

Yeah...maybe while I'm finishing up my newest version I'll think about adding a background of easy listening music too.

Might get you out of the restaurant long enough to fix up your own bike :P

I'm planning on getting the CD, but I'd like to get a manual first.  I have a '06 S40.  It looks like the Clymer manual for the S 650 only covers '86 - '04.  Is my only alternative the pretty expensive Suzuki factory manual?

Not enough difference in the bikes from '04 to '06 to really matter - little bit in the starting circuit so the Clymers should meet about 99% of what ever your doing. The shop manual is a far different type of book that is more difficult to use if your just starting to work on bikes - likely be better to get the clymers and add the suzuki service manual later - in fact keep an eye on ebay and the SSM can be had at times really cheap -

Now for the shill - get the CD - a very fine piece of work and the Clymers - first time you do any maint on the bike they'll pay for themselves.

I just figured that after some of your recent adventures that you'd want to fix the hickey marks on your seat.

Not really hockin my own product but I do think the collection is useful.  If you just think of the manual and the CD as being less than 1 hour of shop labor, then it does pay for itself.

Thanks guys...I was thinking the Clymers manual would be close enough for an '06...I'll plan on getting that and the CD.
