First off - Hello everyone - this is an awsome site, I have had my S40 for about 3months and this site was one of the deciding factors in buying it.
I do have question, I have a 07, it has a dyna muffler, side mounted UNI filter, 152.5 main, 55 pilot and about 1/2 white spacer. IT IS MUCH FASTER NOW, but when I roll the throttle wide open, it hesitates for a second and than kinda surges. It does not do it when you slowly roll the throttle open, just when you nail it. I rejetted when I put the new filter on and that is when the this started, I checked the jets and they do not appear to be block or dirty.

Was your vacuum needle and slide spotless when you put it back together?? Sounds like it might be sticking a little.

How does your plug look?

How about the exhaust outlet?

Also got an '07 with Mac exhaust,152,5 main 55 pilot,K&N drop-in also in PDX. Did you put the carb slide spring back in (it'll run without) and the plate with the little holes (inside the slide, attached with 2 screws) is put in correctly? :)
