Title: Re: shocks Post by LANCER on 09/11/07 at 17:16:59 For typical cruising down the road, the 412 model will work great for you. If you are in the 200+ lb range then consider the heavy duty spring version. If you are going to build a sportier version of the Savage and want more capability then go with the 418 model. |

Title: Re: shocks Post by Savage_Rob on 09/12/07 at 09:03:51 The 11" Progressive 412's are a good choice. I am using the 12.5" heavy duty 412's and like them a lot. They do raise the bike quite a bit though. I recommend the 11" versions if you want to maintain a similar height to the stock (which are 10.5"). |

The stock ones are 10.5" cause I was comparing them to the shocks on an Intruder that I was working on. I think that Intruder shocks were close to 12" |
