Title: chromey Post by Trippah on 09/04/07 at 17:28:22 Question..was looking back at some old 60's bikes, which leads to this question..has anyone here ever had their front and/or rear fenders chromed? And nickle plating the frame a la the rickman bros..talk about bling. What a sight on a sunny day. 8) |

Title: Re: chromey Post by Trippah on 09/04/07 at 19:30:10 Would have to find a plating shop I suppose..can't be anyone already making them for our savages. Hmm. maybee a google search is oin order..back later.. |
Title: Re: chromey Post by rigidchop on 09/05/07 at 09:06:17 isn't the rear fender fiberglass? it would be alot cheaper to use a front fender off of an older japanese mc, alot of them were chrome. there is a paint that looks alot like chrome, it's kinda pricey i think ( not rattle can ) the only rear fenders that i have seen that are easily avaiable are the chromed flat fenders. |

Yes, but what's that pointy thing between the handlebar risers -- a pedestrian slicer or the battering ram off a Greek trireme?? http://www.bikepics.com/pictures/602073/ |
Title: Re: chromey Post by southerngirl on 09/10/07 at 05:31:40 not sure exactly what that THING is but overall the bike is beautiful, hate to have to shine all that chrome though, especially fingerprints all the time because you know folks are gonna wanta touch it |
Title: Re: chromey Post by skatnbnc on 09/10/07 at 05:51:12 Whoa, that bike really IS chrome city! And I only wish I had all those sharp edges in which to slash cages that come too close, and pedestrians that try and get on my bike! Maybe he has it wired to shock when someone tries to touch it! :o |
Title: Re: chromey Post by Trippah on 09/10/07 at 06:11:59 Even the frame too! I wonder if it's illegle to ride on a bright sunny day. Well, I'm thinking a little less chrome.. :D |

Looks like is just there to compliment the bar ends. Also looks like something I wouldn't want to have there if a fast stop was needed. :o |
