Today I took my beautiful 05 S40 to a dealer for consignment sale. I have just sold my summer home in Maine and will be returning to FL. It was not practical to ride/ship the bike 1600 miles, so I put it up for consignment. I will miss being a part of the Suzuki thumper community. You folks have been most helpful to me and have provided a wealth of information. I will continue to read the various comments on this site even though I am no longer a Suzuki Savage/S40 rider.

That certainly is an option. I'm just feeling a little bit down at abondoning a good friend.

Just think of constantly nice weather and hours of cruising without freezing your but off!!

Yep, it is hard to leave a member of the family when moving like that. Being in the military for many years there were times when we had to leave a cat or dog behind and that was always hard on everyone.

There are frequently Savages listed for sale in FL on ebay, and we have several owners down there too. Contact a few of them and perhaps one of them knows of one for sale.

Mines for sale,A little above blue book but lots of goodies on it.Spring Hill Fla.

seeger 8"over frontend,forward controls.Amal 2 carb,Jardine muffler,I could go on and on!lots of chrome stuff.

I have a white bike,helmet would look good.

Sorry youre selling your bike,it really is pretty. Are you gonna get another one?
