Post by cglenn on 08/26/07 at 18:02:34

I want to put saddlebags on my wifes savage 650. I want to install slant bags with brackets. Can anyone steer me in the right direction with some manufacturers and part numbers..

Thanks,

Actually when you Google Suzuki Savage LS650 saddlebags, You should get some sites that have bags that fit good on a Suzuki. The thing was they were rather pricey. I ended up getting my bags from Bayleather, and just modified the strap that goes under the backseat to go around the voltage meter.

I have some Willie and Max compact slant bags, like these (http://www.buywillieandmax.com/cat_compact.cfm) But I bought them off of e-bay for about 1/3 the MSRP.  They are big enough for carrying my lunch to work, and a 12 pack will fit in one on the way home...  ;)
