I picked up an old '87 Savage that was in various pieces and have it mostly together. However,I can't figure out where to hook up two hoses that are attached to the carb. They are are connected on either size of the carb and curve up and forward over the carb. But I don't see anywhere to connect them. Can anyone tell me where these go?

Can't see your picts, but I'm assuming that you have the vaccum line and the fuel line figured out- the other two hoses are bowl vent tubes. They don't go anywhere- just tuck 'em out of the way where any gas overflow won't spill over something that'll catch fire. ;D

As already replied...
Sounds like the hard plastic vent lines.
They tuck up inside the frame under the tank or anywhere else they happen to lay up under the tank.

Thanks guys. Yes, they are bowl vent lines. I suppose running them up under the tank makes sense, it just seemed strange to have these two lines going up there to nowhere.

FYI: I changed "url" in the brackets to "img", only with the brackets. The "s are for illustration purposes only! I also removed the "?action=view¤t="

Yup, as mentioned above, those are vent tubes and are usually tucked into the square tubing of the frame under the tank.
