Greetings. Can someone please tell me if the rectifier carries heat? I am installing saddlebags under the pillion (Yea, I still use it for my kids) and I don't want to burn the bags. Looks like a heatsink so I don't want to take any chances.

no worries, not that much heat involved so if you cover it not a big deal

Thanks for the quick reply sluggo. I did cut a notch in the Strap so there is very little contact with the rectifier to begin with. looks like I am good to go and tighten down the seats. ;D
