Hi, I have a 2005 s40 and was wondering if there is a solo seat with a back rest that would fit. I also suffer from the sore butt syndrome after riding for a short distance and I think a back rest would make the ride more comfy. Also I live in a rural area where the roads are dark, has anyone had any luck with aux lights?

i have a drivers back rest on my o6 stock one piece seat
brackets mount to side rails and rest removes easily ..
have pair of 20 watt (mr 11 size) aux lights tied into a relay that only lets me turn them on with  low beam,changed the head lamp to a "super white" still same wattage as stock but ALOT briter...

Yeah, Thumperclone. I'd love to see pictures (in gritty detail) of the driver's backrest.

I do not know about a solo seat but I do know that when I added a backrest and an airhawk seat pad my riding comfort went way way up.

I ordered a Protac backrest - dead simple to install and looks good on my older Savage

sorry digi cam down go to cruisercustomizing.com think thats where i got it "protac"..too many dumpster visits memory not as sharp as it was 20 years ago  ;D
