Title: Brake Pads - Front Post by rokrover on 08/11/07 at 16:50:50 Yeah, old topic I'm sure but what gives- my wife's front pads are shot at 3.000 mi! Dealer wants $40 for a new OEM pair. This is ridiculous - now I understand why there's so much brake dust on the front end, the Suzuki pads wear like crazy. Usually best practice is to match new pads to a new (refinished) rotor surface but I'm not going to have that flimsy Suzuki rotor turned down. I guess we al have to live with this weak design. Heck, my Ducatis had cast iron Brembo rotors that would last forever with stock pads. Any suggestions? |
