Finally. I got my first ride in today, since July 2005 when my stepson rode it away. He wrecked it in October 2005. Been sitting up since for major modifications/rebuild.

Lots of decel and upshift popping. Tires are kind of dry rotten. Front brake has failed (again). It needs a bath and a new license tab. Had to pull the carb and ream the main jet, still needs one notch of choke to run. But it hauls butt, will stop itself and shift tolerably.

I'm happy. When is the next PNW Sunday ride? More kinks and more mods to overcome/finish, but, it is ready to go. And so am I...
