Title: Right turn signal problem
Post by Baldeagle on 07/03/07 at 17:34:37

05 S40
When I turn the ignition switch to the ON position the right turn signal comes on with out using the turn signal switch.  It will not cancel using the cancel switch and will only go off by turning off the ignition switch.

Pinched wire??  Bad switch??  Some where the wires to the right signal get 'hot'.  Any idea's before I take it to the dealer is appreciated.

Have a Happy 4th and RIDE SAFE!

Have you ever had a problem so simple to fix you keep looking over the solution??  Well disregard the above problem please.  the hazard switch was moved half way over which caused the signal to turn on after opening the ignition.  being bald has caused my brain to be fried.

Have a good 4th and RIDE SAFE!!!!

Would not have considered that as I don't have a hazard switch.

When I first got mine, I had trouble turning off the turn signal, I was trying to slide the button left and right. Took me a couple of days to realize that you Push In on the little tab in the Middle....DUH

And I still have hair, go figure
